What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting Post A Non-penetrative Intercourse?
My girl friend had her last periods on 6th october. We had dry sex with underwears on 15th oct 2016. There is no penetration or ejacuation. But she observed dark brown colour spotting from yesterday. Can this be due to pregnancy. Can that brown spotting is due to implantation bleeding. Please reply. Her expected periods are on 6th nov.
Probabality of Pregnancy almost nil : Some more information needed
Detailed Answer:
Dear Yassu,
Since you had just body-play with underwear on (both of you) and no penetration, no ejaculation, the probability of pregnancy is almost nil.
However, I would like to have following details before I give you definite answer:
1. What is her periodicity of the menstruation and when is her next period expected.
2. On what date did she had this brown bleeding? Was it anyway associated with any degree of pain in abdomen?
She had her last period on 6th October, you had the body-play on 11th day of the cycle. This day does fall in fertile window of the cycle. However, precise opinion will be given only after you provide me the above requested information.
For any more information and/or advice, I am always available for you, Yassu.

Her periodicity is generally 30 days(gap b/w start date of consecutive periods) and her expected period is on 6th nov.
She observed dark brown colour spotting today(3rd nov) and there is minimal back pain involved. No abdominal pain.
Start of menses
Detailed Answer:
Dear Yassu,
This little brown bleeding seems to be starting of her menses. Gradually the bleeding will increase and she will get menses. I do not see any issue of concern about pregnancy.
Still if you are keen on confirmation, you may perform pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample after 15th November; earlier the test may report false negative. You have another alternative of opting for Beta hCG test on the blood. Values above 25 mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy while in non-pregnant state, the values remain under 5 mIU/ml.
For any more information, please feel free to ask me, Yassu.
You may consider posting a good review with 5 star rating for me.
