What Causes Brownish Semen While On Antibiotics?

Question: Im currently being treated for lymes disease and on two antibiotics for 6 weeks ending in early December. Ive notice brown semen, medium in color. I also had some testicular pain on the right side about a week ago. Concerned about prostate issues and wondering if I should order a lab

Hello XXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your concern.

You should complete the course of antibiotics.
Send the reports on basis of which lyme's disease was diagnosed.
If you're worried about prostsate gland,get the following tests done,after an examination by an Urologist.
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,RBS,creatinine,LFT,PSA,uric acid and platelets.
Lipid profile,if not done in over 3 months.
3. ultrasound -KUB,with residual urine and a TRUS(trans rectal scan).
4. Flow rate test.

After seeing the reports,i can give you an expert opinion.
