Question: I fell face forward and hurt my left knee. Why is the back of my thigh turning very black when I didn't land on that part.

Hello,
I have studied your case. I think that there is collection of blood in the thigh. This can occur due to injury of knee.Because of this that blood get accumulated in the back of knee. There is nothing to be worried about this.
I have following suggestions for you.
1.Hot water fomentation.
2.Volitra gel local application.
3.Avoid squatting and sitting cross leg.
4.Compression bandage can be applied.
