What Causes Bumps With Severe Itching On The Vagina After Intercourse?

Question: I have an itchiness in my vagina along with a few bumps that showed up... is there a chance this may be herpes? its been going on for about 5 days and i tried to stop the itchiness.
my boyfriend did have a cold sore before us having sex without a condom, but it was not visible and neither of us could tell. I never had sex with anyone else except for him and we did not use a condom.

Brief Answer:
Not Herpese....
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM.Thanks for weiting to us with your query. The picyure you sent me doesnot show any herpese like leision , most likely it is due to vigorous sex. One thing I would like to ask is that are these bumps painful? Apply Vitamin E cream and avoid sex for sometime. Maintain good local hygiene and wear cotton panties. Regards Dr Manisha Jain.

Brief Answer:
Precautions applied
Detailed Answer:
You can apply lignocaine jelly and avoid synthetic inner wear and any sexual activity.
In case it persists then visit a gynaecologist for examination.
Drink a lot of water and you will be fine.
