Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.
In absence of fever and since pus cell count is negative I would not get concerned. Giving plenty of fluids should help in resolution of the problem. Your doctor is right. Please be patient. Let me know if the problem persists even after a week.

Brief Answer:
A course of antibiotics is advisable
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for the inadvertent delay.
There is no specific intervention that would help right when the child is getting the burning sensation. Giving plenty of water should help but the underlying cause needs to be treated. Even though the urine reports are negative I would insist you to go for a course of antibiotics. It can be given in case of unexplained burning sensation during passage of urine.
Let me know if I could help further.
