What Causes Burning Sensation In Labia Minora And Painful Urination?
Question: I have a burning sensation in my lobia minora since two days. Its burns when i pass urine and is very uncomfortable while walking or sitting. What medication should i take

1) Are you in menopause ?
2) Are you Diabetic?
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Using topical Estrogen cream will help to relieve pain and burning .
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Hello i dont know if i am reaching menopose. I still get my periods monthly. The burning is manily out side near the skin of the urethra. Today i feel a liitke burning from the inside only in the begining when the urine comes out. Can you suggest any estogen creams. I have been taking a tablet called urispass.
