Posted on Sat, 12 Sep 2015
Question: I am having burning sensation in urethra tip since 1 month. It is there constant. It goes away for one or two days but comes back again and is there always. I made all the tests and all reports are coming normal. My ultrasound reports, uric acid and creatinine test are normal. I have consulted with many doctors and they all say you have nothing and drink lots of water and it will go away. Last doctor just put me on an cefuroxime antibiotic for 5 days and told me drink alkalinizer for 5 days as he suspects mild infection. I have attahed my urine test report. I have already taken tablet for 3 days and drinking lots of water. Burning goes but comes back again for half day. Please advise.

I want to reassure that your problem would subside

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have carefully read what you have wrote. Your report attached not a concern. My suestion is to continue the medication course prescribed and continue to drink ood amount of water for few more days. I want to reassure that your problem would subside by this time.

however, if it does not, I advise to undergo cystouretroscopy for further analysis.

I would like to know if a kidney stone can also cause continuous burning sensation in urethra tip? I know the ultrasound report indicates I do not have kidney stone or any other kidney issues but can there be possibility that there can be kidney stone or disease as per my case?
