What Causes Burning Sensation On Rectum Post Defecation?
Constipation Likely , rule out inflammatory bowel
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Burning sensations after defecation with hemorrhoids history and old age all point towards to age related functional decline of the bowel causing constipation.
You using suppositories and cool pads is a wise approach to treat this constipation but this alone is not sufficient. Gluten or wheat intolerance does not come out of a blue.
These are just the symptoms one faces once hemorrhoidal cushions are ligated. You need a complete management of constipation by modifying diet and lifestyle, taking plenty of fluids and fibrous diet to get this issue fixed.
If the pain persists despite the home remedies you should seek a proctologist / gastroenterologist for further work up. They will do a rectal examination and rule out other differentials like inflammation etc.
Right now home remedies would suffice.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

i drink lots of water about 4 bottles a day each is 750ml
i clean myself thoroughly with wet toilet paper and then use cotton pad soaked in water to clean just about half and inch inside,
i have had this problem for a number of years i can go awhile without it happening and then it will kick in ,
the reason i asked is that my friend has celiac and she said some the symptoms i have might be because i am gluten or wheat intolerance ,she said that can start at anytime as she didn't have it when she was younger,i saw a colectral surgeon last XXXXXXX and he banded five internal hemarroids,i have an acid feeling I'm stomach sometimes ,could this be causing it, i take gaviscon for this ,could it be a yeast infection and i might need something for that,it is becoming very frustrating and is interfering with my life,i thought when you where constipation your motion was really hard and you couldn't go
Need differentials ruling out. Seek a gastroenterologist
Detailed Answer:
Thanx for asking again.
There is very rare possibility that this is celiac. Avoid using spices and use lots of fruits and vegetables. Seems post surgical complication . Needs further examination and evaluation. Consulting a gastroenterologist will be a better option.
Sometimes i am clear from them for weeks .thats why i wondered if it could be a food intolerance of some kind.could that be possible
What can i take to stop my bowel motion being pastie.
I am in the uk so need something that can be purchased here
hope for the best
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me
As I mentioned earlier all the possibilities you need to consult a gastroenterologist and let them narrow the differentials. Alternating bowel habits old age are altogether responsible for this functional bowel disorder. Also you need to relax as this is not that serious to worry about. Slight diet and lifestyle modifications would helps.
I hope it helps.
