Brief Answer:
Suggestive of inflammation of the eyelid.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on healthcare magic.

Based on the history given, your husband seems to be suffering from inflammation of the eyelid (blepharitis).

It is a noncontagious inflammation of the eyelids that usually affects the lower part of the lid and eyelashes. It is usually characterized by excess oil production in the meibomian glands near the eyelid, which creates a favorable environment for bacterial growth. It does not usually affect vision or damage the eye.

Carefully cleaning the eyelids is usually all that is needed to control symptoms and prevent complications.

Hope these answer your query however if you have any follow up query, please feel free to ask.

Best wishes.
