What Causes Burping, Flatulence And Diarrhea?

> Before those symptoms, I'd been having bone pain in my private region while urinating.
I have a 10 year old transvaginal sling, so I experience the pain as a price I pay for not having to worry about incontinence anymore. I'm overweight. 5'6 about 170lbs 54 y/o female.
COPD, GERD and a type of sticky blood problem from smoking are my 'normal' diseases. I'm also agoraphobic and rarely go to a doctor. Could I have food poisoning or some such ailment that will pass? I plan to get a Clyndamyacin antibiotic from my daughter and take it. I'm just kind of depressed and worried about feeling so sick. I'm drinking tea. Not eating. Sleeping. Trying not to smoke as much to avoid the thick sputum that makes me gag from my sinuses or lungs. I take Flovent. Omeprazole. Have Spiriva, but do not take it often. What would you suggest for me?
Yes, it is a case of food poisoning. Though it could be compounded with UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry about the problems you seem to be going through. Yes, at the outset, the symptoms you are describing seem to arise from food poisoning. Although the urinary symptoms may be related to it or not, that is difficult to say at this point.
Foremost advise that I can give you is, have more of fluids. Although it might seem to be inconsequential, dehydration can worsen every problem that you have. So drink more fluids daily. An approximate quantity would be 3-4 liters. More if you are having a severe diarrhea too. Fluids can be anything, plain water, pulpy juices, ORS solutions or vitamin water. I would suggest juices and vitamin water. Once we address that the following measures should take care of the other symptoms. You should have this probiotic medicine that contains Saccharomyces boulardii it is available OTC in any pharmacy stores. Take it twice daily. Also I think Clindamycin is not the most ideal antibiotic at the moment. A combination of Ofloxacin and Orndiazole is the best in my view. But they are prescription antibiotics and you should get one only with a GP's prescription. As for the headache a Tylenol should do the trick, provided you are not sensitive to it. Continue Omeprazole for burping. You can also temporarily add Mucaine suspension until the bloating is resolved. Avoid smoking at all costs. When you are already under stress, it doesn't help to stress it further by smoking and it will cause a weak immune response, which we don't want it to happen now.
Please seek counselling for the agoraphobia if it is influencing you from seeking help from a doctor. It is very important to visit your doctor if you notice any health problems. You have to nip them at the bud.
I don't understand what you meant by sticky blood problem. Do you mean you get frequent blood clots?
Do get back to me you if you have any follow-up queries.
Regards,
Pradeep
