What Causes Calcified Nodules In The Bladder Wall While Treating Low-grade Bladder Cancer?
Question: I have had bladder low grade cancer 11 yrs, had cystogram found no tumors but for the first time cytology positive. Took ct scan found 2 non calcified nodules 3mms and 7mms should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Hello. Please upload the reports
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So you had a low grade tumor quite a long back and now the cytology is again postive. Ct scan as per your details doesnot give evidence of cancer, but yoh require a bladder examination by cystoscopy and biopsy if required. Biopsy can be taken from the nodules.
If the biopsy is positive, then further treatment can be decided.
Please revert back with reports.
Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Cancer may behave in bizarre fashion
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
If the cystoscopy and CT are negative, then you must get urine cytology repeated.
Treatment can only be done when there is mass in the bladder on cystoscopy.
