I recently had a urine cytology that done that described reactive lymphocytes and malignant urothelial cells consistent with high grade urothelial carcinoma. I then had an IVP that did not identify any type of tumors that could be seen. Now I am having a cystoscopy to what is in the bladder
So abnormal mass or areas will be revealed in cystoscopy examination and biopsy is to be taken from that lesion for histopathology examination. The histopathology examination will give us an exact diagnosis and will help in further management. You can revert back once cystoscopy is done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
