What Causes Chest Pain And Irregular Heart Beats While On Sildenafil?
Question: I am diabetic and also having colestrol and taking medicine for both diabetics and colestrol , . I am taking CLAVIX AS 75 also as advised by my diabetologist. For the last six month i am having E.D problem. Can i take sildenfil 50 mg along with above medicine.
If i get chest pain and irregular heart beat on consuming sildenafil 50 mg , is there any chance of heart attack.
Is there any instant herbal pill for erection. so that i can avoid the above side effects.

I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I have the solution for your problem.
The best idea would be to get a cardiac evaluation.
You see, as a diabetic an annual cardiac , retinal and nephrological evaluation should be done anyways.
If that is clear (tests needed would be ecg echocardiography and stress test), you can take sildenafil.
Besides, this is probably a complication of diabetes itself. The affect of high sugars on autonomic system can cause ED.
So test the sugars and control sugars well. HbA1c may be useful test to this end.
As for herbal medicines, there are very few studies on these medicines in published literature. Besides , lots of reports have been in circulation about addition of steroids in herbal medicines. Steroids will make the sugars go high. So I will not recommend them at the moment, specially when we have a safety proven drug with known possible side effects.Panax ginseng and Rhodiola rosea are 2 commonly suggested compounds prescribed by ayurveda doctors.
