What Causes Chest Pain, Burping And Increased Appetite?

Adjust the dose of Thyronorm to lower level
Detailed Answer:
HI.
Going through the history..
A female patient of 54 years having stressful life, needs anxit; Sompraz and Gaviscon not helping for gastritis for last 5 months.
Feels uneasy and hungry all the time, chest pain, burping, yawing in excess.
TO nail the problem= taking thyronorm 100 for TSH >19..
Now- coming to the problems you are suffering and having.
From the thorough study of your case, I am of the XXXXXXX opinion that your dose of Thyronorm is in excess.. of your requirements.
I would like to know your ''all'' the reports of Thyroid profile like T3/T4/ TSH; preferably FreeT3/ FreeT4 and TSH.
The excess thyronorm is causing all the body tissues to work in high basal metabolic rate (BMR). Adjusting the dose to the lower levels will solve all your problems very soon...
This is my XXXXXXX opinion as seen in many patients with the symptoms you have. And this has a theoretical basis also.. as just mere increase in TSH ( this is secreted by the gland called Pituitary and not by the gland called Thyroid) has no role to increase the dose of thyronorm...

please tell us the normal range lab has given
Detailed Answer:
Thanks For your reply.
I would like to know which laboratory you have tested from ( Thyrocare / Lal Pathlab or local Lab) and please also write the normal range the laboratory has given. This is because the normal ranges of all laboratory are different.
Please also mention is this the recent one ( date) ?
Was there a Gap of a few days/ did you stop thyronorm for a few days before the test or you were on the regular course while this was tested?
If possible, please upload the report on the right side of this query page. That makes it easier to interpret.
Thank you!

Need to reduce Thyronorm dose
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the reports
You can very well see T4 is just bellow the normal range in spite you have stopped Thyronorm 4 days before the test.
( Thanks to the Doctor who advised to stop thyronorm before the test)
Incidentally your lipid profile is also not much deranged ( these are highly elevated in hypothyroidism )
As I thought your requirement for the Thyronorm is not 100 and the present dose is causing all the problems you are having.
Reducing this dose and repeating Free T3, Free T4 and TSH after 1 month will definitely help you to get symptoms-free. It is but possible that your requirement for anxit will be reduced and may stop this also..
All the best
Have a great recovery.
