Brief Answer: Trigger point's secondary to fibromyalgia Detailed Answer: Hi After going through your suffering, the most likely cause of lump is "trigger point" formation in the tibialis anterior muscle secondary to fibromyalgia. An active trigger point is a hyperirritable spot in the skeletal muscle that is associated with a tender knot (lump) in the muscles. These muscles often appear tight, weak and do not respond to stretching. When pressed, trigger points are very tender and can cause pain, tingling, burning. As far as treatment is concerned, we have-1. Dry needling is the effective method to relieve the pain of trigger point (lumps). 2. Low level laser therapy. Beside these stretching /strengthening of weak muscle for prevention and treatment. These treatment are provided by specialist doctor (Podiatrist). Take care and i shall be glad to help, if you have any further query. Regards
