What Causes Clear Discharge From Scalp?
Question: I have a clear Orly discharge from the scalp this is bothering me for over a year when it is a clear liquid it sticks the Ritz my hair to my scalp I've been a free donut ologist with no help can you help me please

Sometimes as a normal variation, some people may have extremely oily scalp. However, they complain of sebum or oil discharge which makes hair oily but matting of roots is not seen
A clear discharge from scalp, matting your hair could be due to some pathological cause like pemphigus, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, recurrent boils or furuncles, fungal infection of scalp like favus or lice infestation..
i would like to know,
If you have extreme flakiness of scalp
If sores are present
If you have lice or nits
If you use hair color and after its application, you get extreme itching over scalp
If you have bumps over scalp
If you have yellow thick crusting over scalp with hair coming out of centre.
Answer these questions and upload pics of your scalp, so that lesions can be seen clearly. As you have consulted a dermatologist, I would appreciate if you could upload your doctor's prescription too.
