Question : I have a cloudy urine that looks like it has snowflakes floating in it. I have no temperature and no painduring urination. I am taking only the medications that I have taken for years (BP medications, cholesterol lowering medications, Flomax, and baby aspirin). earlier this past summer I had a bout of C.-diff. after gall bladder surgery, but that is behind me. I am 75 years old.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Sir
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern,

Cloudy urine with floating snow flakes point to Lipiduria/escape of lipids into the urine.

C diff is not related to this abnormal urine morphology.

Elevated blood lipids coupled with renal disease(Nephrotic syndrome) can contribute to this pathology.

Its mandate for you to further evaluation in the form of blood lipid profile, serum lipid electrophoresis, and complete urine examination with microscopy.

These tests can rule out associated blood lipid abnormality like Hyperlipopreoteinemia,

Review with reports in your follow up query.
Take care
Thank you
