What Causes Cold, Watery Nose And Sneezing?

Question: I am having cold for last two days with watery nose and no cough. What medicine can i take to cure it, as I am in XXXXXXX and dont know which Dr to consult for this.

No fever, no body ache, no soar throat, only sneezing and running nose. Bit of heache

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

You seem to be having acute rhinitis which usually is viral to start with and later on can have bacterial infection.

You are already using anti allergics and please add nasal decongestant drops to that. Two drops of Nasivion thrice daily along with steam inhalation.

Don't use allegra and D Cold together. Bother have anti allergics. D Cold will take care of body aches also but will have more sedation than allegra. With allegra 120 OD you can take crocin thice daily

If fever comes, add tab. Zifi 200 twice daily. It is a prescribed medication.

Do take steam frequently.

If symptoms persist, see an ENT.
