What Causes Colorless Bumps On The Skin?
Question: Can cyst that are under the skin be caused by bacteria found in a hottub and they are colorless
Brief Answer:
A photo of cyst is needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I understand your concern.
Yes, hottube has lots of bacteria especially when hygienic measures aren't taken rigorously.
However, as you have colorless skin eruptions or cysts, I need to have a look at them myself. Can you please send a photo of them to me?
Can you also say if they are itchy? painful or any other symptoms?

My future wife had broke out with colorless bumps that were under the skin and dont itch. Some folks had used my hot tub and we got in it a couple days later. We think the bacteria in the water caused it I tried to send pictures to your Email but it said Email was invalid What can I do
Brief Answer:
Watchful waiting strategy for the moment...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Ok, then, usually when using hottubes, the risk for infection is high especially if people who use it are not family members.
The colorless bumps could be due to hottubes or any viral/bacterial infection when being in hottube. It could be better to have a look at them; however, if you were not able to send the photos in, no worries. The email is

my patients have succeeded to send the reports/photos in. Please try again hoping you will too.
I advise to:
- keep good hygiene of the skin, keep bathing regularly every day
- change shower cream/gel if there would be any difference
for a few more days. If they won'd disappear, or your wife will get others or any other symptom, should consult with dermatologist as soon as possible or go to ER.
All the best!

Hi, I have provided some attachments. Please review them.
Brief Answer:
Lymphadenopathy to be further evaluated
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
From what I have noted in the pictures, they seem to be swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy).
She needs immediate clinical evaluation and further blood tests to determine the right diagnosis.
Please schedule an appointment with dermatologist first and then with hematologist.
Hope this helps.
