Brief Answer:
Thyroid gland function test should be next step.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

About your wife's blood tests results:

- complete blood count shows only slight near normal values of RBC and hematocrit, with no clinical significance.

- there's slightly increased TSH, that needs to be correlated with thyroid gland function tests.

It may indicate low thyroid gland function that may explain the headaches too, but if thyroid gland function is within normal ranges ( T3, and T4 should be measured as well ), then other causes of the headaches should be considered.

These include migraine ( since there is possible inheritance ), stress related headaches, tension type etc.

In conclusion, I suggest to evaluate further the thyroid gland function and, if normal, your wife should see a Neurologist to be examined further about headaches cause.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
