What Causes Continuous Palpitations And Pain In Rib Joint Area?

Question: My wife has continuous palpitations. Cardiologist concluded no problem with her heart after few tests. She is also having continuous pain in the rib joint area. Orthodox specialist ruled out any major problems in the joints.
What could be the route cause and remedies for the same be suggested

I had gone through your question and I can understand your concern

apart from heart and joint disease palpitations may be caused by following conditions

stress and anxiety disorder or emotional disturbance
thyroid problem
hormonal imbalance related to menstruation pregnancy or menopause
excessive intake tea or coffee
Decongestant medicines taken for cold

I would advise you to get her thyroid function test and hormonal studies done

in order of priority I would advise her to consult Psychiatrist and Gynaecologist or an endocrinologist for examination and investigations
