Hello, It is my privilege to be able to help you. As you are diagnosed to have EB virus infection for last 6 weeks and you had symptoms of infection in joints. Joints will be affected in this infection leading to joint pain or arthritis. It is important to note that symptoms related to EBV infection last for more than 4 months (16 weeks). When such an illness lasts more than 6 months, it is frequently called chronic EBV infection. However laboratory evidence for continued active EBV infection is found in these patients. I would suggest you to consult your physician for further query and continuation of treatment. Thank you.
