What Causes Cough While Treating Strep Throat?
Question: A friend at work was diagnosed with strep throat via a strep test and a week later she is still coughing. I know that she is being treated with antibiotics. Is she still contagious if she is still coughing? I really don't want to catch strep! I also have guttate psoriasis which I have under control but I know strep will trigger a bad flare, any advice for what I should do if I do catch strep?

How close do you have to be to someone to catch strep? What distance should I keep from someone with strep? For example 5 feet, 10 feet or more?
