What Causes Coughing After Having Fruselac And Enam?
I am 70 years old (female), diagnosed with RWMA in LAD (dyskinetic IVS), LBBB induced moderate LV systolic dysfunction, moderate MR, no PE clot or vegetation.
I am prescribed Fruselac, Enam 50 mg, Ecosprin, Rablet.
I developed cough after the use of these drugs and when followed up I am given Telma 40 mg instead of Enam.
Could you please advise me the correct combination and whether any surgical or other treatment is beneficiary for the above problems. Also please let me know about the prognosis of this disease clearly.

You need Angioplasty.

Greeting from Dr. Divakara.P
First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.
You are on right medications. Initially you were given Enam for which cough is a well known side effect and hence changed to Telma which is absolutely correct. Rest all other medications are fine .
Apart from medications I advise you to undergo Coronary Angiogram with stenting which is more beneficial for your heart.
As of prognosis is concerned it depends on the Angiogram findings and EF ( Ejection fraction ). In your report it has been mentioned as 3.8% which is wrong as such low EF is not compatible with life . Kindly consult your cardiologist and ask him about your EF.
. Hope you find this information useful.
