Question: I have cracking noises in my ear. Like crickets My left ear I also have a sty on my right eye that is being treated with eye drops but the noise in my ear is new

the most common cause of tinnitus in elderly in such a scenario is sensory neural hearing loss.
You should get a pure tone audiometry done.
Start taking tablet cinnarizine twice daily for 2 weeks.
tablet vitamin b12 1500 micrograms once daily.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at wriiten prescription only.
Avoid excessive XXXXXXX phone usage and ear phones usage.
