What Causes Cracks Around Corners Of Lips In An Infant?

Question: My 1 year old daughter's lip corners are looks crackerd few days ago. Now it became slightly pink color. It is not healing . What is the reason if this?

Frim last two weeks iam not able to breastfed her bcz of nipple cracking and wound on it. Is it bcz of her miouth problem? Any infection ? I used special nipple cracking cream but not healing when i start feeding again.

Multivitamin Syrup will be helpful

The cracking of angle of mouth of your baby is unrelated to nipple cracking.
I would suggest you the following
1. Syrup A to Z or Syrup Becosules (multivitamin ) 2.5 ml twice a day

2. Local application of Glycerine over the cracks

The cracking is due to Vitamin deficiency.

Local application of coconut oil over your nipple will be helpful. Do send me clinical photograph for further assessment.
