What Causes Dark Discolouration On The Head Of The Penis?
Question: A few weeks ago while in the shower I noticed a dark discoloration on the bottom part of the tip of my penis. A few days ago, I noticed that the spot had gotten smaller but there is now a rough spot in the middle of the discoloration. There is no pain or itching involved. What could this be as there has been no injury or bruising?

The discolored rough area on glans penis seems like a dermatitis, may be frictional or contact dermatitis Or may be a fixed drug eruption. It does'nt seem to be anything serious.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to apply a topical moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g mometasone furoate 0.1% or fluticasoe propionate 0.05%, twice daily for 2 weeks. I think either of these would suffice.
