What Causes Dark Green Diarrhea Caused By Indigestion?

Question: I have dark green diarrhea, low achy pain in lower left abdomen. Getting evaluated for Kidney disease, I have high protein in urine, high ALT readings low ALB readings and low A/G readings. Total protein is 6.7.
Am I getting the right tests, just had 24 urine and blood test and should I be concerned about the green diarrhea??? Does this sound Kidney or Liver related??? I do drink alcohol, have taken Ibuprofen and Hydrocodone 10/325 for back pain

dear sir thanks for posting your query to HCM .
green diarrhoea may be bacause of some parasitic infection or gastric indigestion.
I waned to know why did you had all such investigation , who advised you for this. As these are not the primary test to diagnose cauae of diarrhoea .
However send me the value of all result so that I can interprete the result of each test.
further I suggest you to undergone stool routien & microscopic examination and culture & sensitiviry examination .As these test will help us in making diagnosis and proper managment .
I also want to know treatment history .

How long does this take and how will I be notified??Hello Dr XXXXXXX this all started in December when I had my annual physical with Dr Hartenstein and the blood test result were sent to you. My blood test from Quest Diagnostics showed the issue with total protein and Albumin. He referred me to a Nephrologist which reviewed the data and had me do a 24 hr urine and blood test which was accomplished last weekend, results have not been completed. During this time last weekend I was vomiting (dry heaves, no fluid or solids) I was also very lethargic. Late Sunday I felt pain in my lower left abdomen and felt that I could not catch my breath. (my BM's were normal). I was concerned and went to the local Emergency Room and got evaluated which the reports have been provided from West Hills Hospital. The diarrhea did not start until the day after ER treatment. Both examination reports have been uploaded, I just want to know if I have Liver or Kidney problems and am getting the correct diagnosis. Have you reviewed my test results???Ok, what do you want to know... this isn't working for me... I need to know someone is paying attention and following up. Thank you.

dear sir , I can understand your concern and try my best to releive your worry. I have gone through all of your report and find :
1. you are suffering from hyperlipedemia and taking medication for that. But I wish to suggest you that you need to regularly monitor your lipid profile as presently it is high .
2. liver profile is normal .
3 regarding renal function test your creatinine and blood urea are normal suggesting kidney is functioning normally . As there is abnormality in urine so I feel it because of some kind of infection .
I cant understand why you had not undergone culture and sensitivity examination of urine .
I suggest this test to you , so that we can find out the cause and treatment option .

Dear Dr XXXXXXX I appreciate your analysis and understand the difficulty. I will suggest your evaluation regarding a culture and sensitivity examination of urine to my GP and Nephrologist.

How can I direct future inquiries to you after test results are completed?Also, can I use ibuprofen, acetaminophen and/or drink alcohol???Is my session over????

I suggest you to request your nephrologist to guide you about timing and method of urine collection .
medicine you have mentioned here can be taken just to relieve pain it will not treat the cause .
small amount of alcohol has no harm .
