What Causes Dark Patch Of Skin On Shaft Of Penis?

Question: After just having finished a massage at a reputable massage place, I was putting my clothes on and noticed a dark bruise with a small red dot in the middle. I am on vacation in Australia and have been to nude beaches several times but have not had any unprotected sex in quite some time. Is this a bruise or a tick / bug bite / or something else? I feel no pain or any discomfort at all. I have a few photos of the mark.
Brief Answer:
I would like to rule out a possibility of FDE
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Images. I can see a coin sized dark patch of skin on the shaft of penis.
I will keep a possibility of Fixed Drug Eruption (FDE). With this possibility in mind I would like to know more from your regarding the query.
-Is there any history of recent drug intake? an antibiotic or a painkiller or any other drug?
-Are you on some oral medications?
Regards

Brief Answer:
I suggest you to avoid oxycodone and use a topical steroid at this site
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank you for additional information.
Though both of these drugs can cause an FDE, but I think oxycodone is the likely cause here since the spot appeared just a day after you took oxycodone.
You should avoid taking the implicated drug again because each time you would take it you will notice the same kind of reaction at exactly the same site (the site of reaction/eruption is fixed and therefore this type of drug eruption is called FDE or fixed drug eruption).
Treatment is avoidance of the implicating drug and topical application of a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g mometasone furoate 0.1% Or betamethasone valerate 0.1% cream , twice daily for 2-3 weeks.

It is not an STD.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
The only other drug that you took recently is doxycycline, so it is likely due to either of these.
It is not an STD Or a bite. It is an FDE.
