Question : My foreskin has dark patchy appearance as opposed to being even coloured earlier.
It is also less elastic and sometimes mildly painful to retract.
I am 47 but no diabetes/bp/renal issues.

I have gone through your query.
Based on the information it looks like you have phimosis.
It needs to be confirmed by the doctor. So see the doctor for the same.

It can occur either due to infection or due to forceful retraction either during intercourse or during masturbation.

I would have treated you with application of topical steroid cream, with gentle retraction of the fore skin. Maintain good hygiene, wash it with XXXXXXX warm water and with mild soap.

I would have asked you to review after two weeks.
