Question : I just had a yellow fever innoculation at a Walgreen's Pharmacy from a qualified pharmacist. Now I have very dark urine. Is this a side effect that warrants attention from an M.D.?
Brief Answer:
Can be a rare side effect. See a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
Yellow fever vaccine may cause elevated liver enzymes and produce dark urine rarely.
It would be better for you to see a doctor and sort this out.
I shall be happy to answer any further queries.
Take care

Thanks, from the tone of your response, I'm going to assume this isn't an emergency, and I can wait for a normal appointment in a few days.
Brief Answer:
Not an emergency if there are no other symptom
Detailed Answer:
If you don't have any other symptom it is okay to wait for a regular appointment. If you develop fever, nausea, increasing colour of urine in spite of drinking a lot of water, please get an early appointment.
In the meantime I'm available if you have more queries.
