Brief Answer:
Serum bilirubin's evaluation. Possible obstructive jaundice

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Pale colored stools and dark urine are signs of obstructive jaundice.
2. Serum bilirubin evaluation is necessary for confirmation.
3. Associated increased itching and abdominal pain may be present. Yellowish discoloration will take time to appear.

Based on serum bilirubin's evaluation, if increased, ultrasound abdomen maybe necessary.

Good hydration to rule out concentrated urine is necessary. At least 5-6 liters of water will be helpful.

Do get back with test results. Meet your doctor for tests.

Hope it helps.
