What Causes Decreased Libido After Taking Zoloft, Effexor XR And Losartan?
Question: I recently started taking Xarelto & Losartan. My libido has dropped to nothing. I've researched the 2 drugs and only found some studies that Losartan may do this. Do you have a recommendation for another drug rather than Losartan that I could suggest to my dr?

Hi XXXX!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
After reviewing the list of medication you are taking, my opinion is that the decreased libido is a side effect of the three drugs (Zoloft, Effexor XR and losartan).
If you were my patient i would have recommended to switch from losartan to amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide in order to control your BP.
More over I would have suggested to contact your psychologist about discontinuation of Zoloft and Effexor XR and changing them with other pills that don't have "decreased libido" as a side effect.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
