default
Posted on Tue, 15 Mar 2016
Question: Hi, I am currently 9 days late for my period. My period is irregular but this isn't normal to me. I did took 4 pregnancy tested from cvs and all came out negative. My first last period was on Dec 19, 2016 ends exactly 6 days now I'm late. I've been feeling very nauseous lately... Bloated, cramping lower back pains but no headaches or tender beast. I did tend to get white vaginal discharge and consipated as well... Is there something wrong about me?

Brief Answer:
Hormonal disturbances

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then pregnancy is ruled out.
Bloating, constipation, and cramps are also present in premenstrual period.
I will suggest you to wait for your periods for 1 week more.
If the periods still don't occur till then, you should repeat the urine pregnancy test and if negative, then get your hormonal profile done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
