What Causes Delayed And Irregular Periods?
Question: hey doctor, two months before i have done laparoscopic then afterwards the doctor advise me to take akt-4 .the medicine i have taken around two months in two months i had irregularly period is there. but my doctor changed nowday i have taken akt-2 but i had not coming period also wht can i do

If tuberculosis has caused damage to the lining of the uterus ( endometrium ) then it could make your periods scanty / irregular or delayed.
Other than that - stress, anxiety, weight gain or weight loss, irregular eating and sleeping - all can cause this.
You should also have the following assessment to rule out PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome ) , hypothyroidism, endometrial hyperplasia --
1. Pelvic ultrasound scan.
2. Hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone , Lipid Profile etc.
