Question: Hi, I had the depo provera shot about 3 1/2 weeks ago, a week before my period was due and now the past week and half I have brown discharge?

Since you had depo shot before the periods, I will recommend you to get a urine pregnancy test to rule out any pregnancy. If negative then this is due to the side effect of depo provera.
