Brief Answer:
Conditions for colonoscopy are different!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for tis query.

With colonoscopy, the expectation is that the bowels should be very clean. The term packed is a jargon used to say the intestines were not very clean and not that there are reasons to think you were having so much strong stool in the intestines.

The causes of diarrhea are several. It might not have been from the large intestines which is the part that is seen during colonoscopy. I will suggest that your doctor follows up and makes sure that the small bowels and other investigations are considered to make sure that the cause of this diarrhea is identified and managed accordingly.

ask your doctor what the exact plan to address this is and you would get an answer. If they were not concerned, they would not have considered doing a colonoscopy. Though they have not addressed the concerns fully yet, they are working on it.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and del free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
I would recommend that he repeats the scope!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If your doctor cannot say with certainty that this spot is disease free, I will suggest tat he repeated the scope paying special attention to this area. Also, if that is impossible he can consider other options like PET scan as well and CT scans and barium enema to look for any possible masses.

I hope this helps. Let me know what you think. I wish you well.
