What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Urinating?

Question: Hello Doctor! My grandfather 80yrs old, is facing issues in urination and breathing. Doctors saying kidney is partially damaged. Will take time. Please suggest.
80 yrs old is likely to have benign prostatic hypertrophy(BHP)with poor streaming and increased frequency of urination-occasionally acute retention of urine. Do serum creatinine;if it is more than 1.5 mg%,his renal function is reduced by half.Go for KUB (Kidney,Ureter and bladder) & prostate ultrasonography (USG) to know the status of kidney sizes and size of prostate(prostatomegaly if >25 G).

Thanks Doctor. The condition is still critical. He's in ICU. I am attaching the case summary. Can you please help and suggest.
Brief Answer:
Sepsis with multi organ dysfunction
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query, I have gone through the case reports attached by you. It looks like your grand father is suffering from sepsis with multi organ dysfunction. Sepsis is a very critical condition involving the entire body including the kidneys. The kidneys have currently shut down and he will require dialysis temporarily. He is on the right treatment for the sepsis with higher anti biotics and other supportive care.
I suggest you to continue supportive care and dialysis until he recovers. If you could attach the reports as well I will be in a better position to help
Regards
