Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The following list of blood tests should have been done for you, please cross check and let me know -
1. Complete blood count and blood grouping - both partners.
2. Viral markers - both partners.
3. TSH
4. Thalassemia screening
5. OGTT - oral glucose tolerance test.
In addition, your husband's semen test should be done.
YOu are definitely overweight, you need to lose weight significantly.
You should be taking 5 mg folic acid ( Folvite ) 1 tablet per day.
Next, please go for follicular monitoring whenever your husband is in town.
For this, consult an Expert Infertility Specialist.
Right from day 7 of your periods, the growth of the follicle will be tracked by serial ultrasound scans and when ovulation is confirmed, intercourse will be advised.
IF ovulation is normal, there is no need to take clomiphene, as it only stimulates ovulation.
If you fail to conceive after 3 - 6 such cycles, then go for a laparoscopy to check if your fallopian tubes are open.
Meanwhile, reduce stress levels and exercise regularly and eat well.
You are 34, and with modern medications and treatments, you have a fairly good chance of conceiving, do not lose hope.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
