Question: I am having some real issues wit keeping track if things..fir example I took 6 hundred dollars to the bank yesterday and when I got there I only found 30... I search my cat and found 2 100 dollar bills in a bag with some items I purchased the day before and gave reason why I would have done that...i could nit find the rest. When got home and got out ny car I saw the rest of my money on the floor in front if the seat I was sitting in...this is just one example..

I sleep walk lot and times I wake up to find that I am banging my head against a wall..which is what wakes me up..well the day I went to the hospital I was not waking up. My husband found me banging my head against the wall and he said my eyes were blank and I was incoherent...i was that for two days... At some point I started to see people and my surroundings but know idea what was going in...i still could not talk and and I don't even know if I recognized people as people...dud nit even recognize my husband...i just remember feeling terrified...after 2 dats my husband showed me a pic if my fig who I live dearly ... As soon as I saw her it comforted me ... I spoke her name... started to become responsive. Upon discharge there was no diagnosis written on my discharge papers... Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
There is no simple term for the states you describe. They could be several different things. I would probably describe these as dissociative states. I'd think about getting an MRI of the brain to assess for organic causes of this.
