hi.
thanks for getting back to me and for your answers.
to lose weight, one should have a strict check on daily calorie intake.
in order to loose weight, as per your height , your daily calorie intake should not exceed 1200 to 1300 calories.
in addition;
- low fat intake
- low carbohydrate intake but you should include limited amount in your daily food consumption
- avoid junk food and beverages altogether
- daily walk 30 to 45 minutes
- 2 tsp pure olive early in the morning before breakfast would help to fight diabetes and decrease HbA1c
- eat dinner 2 to 3 hours before going to bed
hope this answers your concern,
any further questions are welcomed

hi.
its a pleasure to answer your queries.
Firstly, gallbladder removal is NOT a risk factor for cancer.
gall bladder primary role is to store "bile".
when gall bladder is intact, bile is usually secreted after having a meal rich in fat; bile plays a vital role in fat digestion.
after gall bladder is removed, bile is continuously being secreted in small intestine and may reflux into stomach. as a result, gastric inflammation may occur causing pain and discomfort.
moreover, high fat meal induces more bile secretion further affecting gastric mucosa.
since you can tolerate all food, so NO worries.
Diverticulitis is inflammation in diverticulum. diverticulum is sac-like pocketing of the colonic wall. low fiber diet and increased fat/red meat diet increases the risk of diverticular disease. Low abdominal pain ( usually left lower quadrant) , abdominal tenderness and leukocytosis on Blood test are indicative for diverticulitis. CT confirms diverticulitis and treatment is advised accordingly ( outpatient vs inpatient). Medical treatment is sufficient and "surgery" is usually preserved for immunocompromised patients with recurrent diverticulitis and in whom medical treatment has failed.
hope to answer your queries.
wish you good and sound health.
