What Causes Discolored Or Reddish Brown Urine?

Question: About an hour ago I urinated and the urine was reddish brown. I drank some water and just urinated again and the urine was brown.
Never saw this before. I take supplements had a gastric bypass and take Fe and vitamin supplements also have type 2 diabetes. Take 2000 mg metformin bid that is 1000 in am and again in pm. Other meds include hypertension meds 2 different. hae taken these meds for years. No side effects.
I have no pain or discomfort.

list of meds I take:Amlodipine10mg am, lipitor10mg, valsarten500mg pm, methylphenidate 20mg tid or qid dependin how long the day is (for many years for ADD) finesteride5mg pm,testosterone cream100 am, aspirin 81 mg, pm, Fe sulfate 250 bid plus otc Fe in midday, B12 and Vit Dmultivitamin, coQ1050 to 100 mg, omega 3, trulicity .75 weekly last on Tuesday A
am.Rouex-en-Y 2005 Was 300 lbs now 160. 5'9". Next BD nov 8 will be 75.

have had problems with Feretin levels now doing ok last test was 22. A1c before Truclicity was 7.1 Blood sugars seem to have lowered about 20 or more points.
Some early stage 1 kidney damage.
