What Causes Discomfort In Throat, Difficulty In Swallowing And Ear Pain?

Tonight I noticed a small dark spot on my tonsil below the drain tube. It's hard to see it. But today I noticed a feeling like a lump in my throat when I swallowed. But it too came and went.
I was on antibiotics the end of January for suspected sinus infection. (I missed a dose of the zpack.) Last week I felt feverish. This week the discomfort and now dark spot. Thoughts?
Could be an infection or an allergic reaction ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Your symptoms of discomfort in the throat, difficulty swallowing, lump in the throat, ear pain and spots in the throat are all indicative of any of the below listed conditions:
+Allergies (usually dust exposure)
+Viral pharyngitis
+Acute sinusitis
+Laryngitis
+Tonsillitis
4/5 conditions from the list are infections, so it could either be that your infection was not adequately treated or that this could be a reaction to some allergen. Either way, it would be best to initiate both antibiotics as well as anti-histamines as part of your treatment regimen now.
I hope you find my response helpful. Please do not hesitate to write to me anytime, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
