What Causes Dislocation Of The Collar Bone Despite Having Normal X-ray?
Suspecting a glenoid labrum tear or shoulder dislocation
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. This could be a glenoid labrum tear (shoulder joint tear) or a shoulder dislocation. A physical examination along with an X-ray of the region now (I know it was conducted earlier, but that was before this incident took place right?).
Try and rest your shoulder, and a shoulder and arm immobilising bandage which should prevent any further damage which can occur with movement if the joint hasn't been reduced to the correct position.
I hope this helps clear your doubts and you find it helpful. If you have any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
You can wait sir, just make sure you rest the region well enough
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
I think thats okay, but make sure you do not hurt the region or physically stress it or put pressure on it, which is why I suggested an immobilising bandage if you can get one for yourself sir. But other than that, no serious emergency requiring any immediate/urgent reporting to a medical centre.
Best wishes.
