What Causes Dizziness After A Deep Tissue Massage?

Question: I sometimes get dizzy after a deep tissue massage but only in the event I am face down bc its when I turn over & get up off the table. Ive had full body xrays & brain MRIs all is normal

Feeling of dizziness on massaging the neck can cause a pressure on the cervical nerve roots causing this sensation. If the neck X-rays and MRI scan are normal then there is no need to worry.
The dizziness can also be related to a middle ear problem that can be detected by an examination by an ENT specialist. This can improve on doing regular neck isometric exercises. A physical therapy program to help with your posture and muscle balance can improve movement in your neck and may help stop the dizziness.
You can avoid using a pillow. Avoid bending your neck at abnormal position for long time, like on computer.
