Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. I need more information to help you.

What medication you are taking now. ?
How long you are taking and how many you took. ?
For what condition you are taking this. ?

Swollen tongue and trouble swallowing can be due to allergic reaction to medicine. In such case it is emergency and you should approach ER. You need corticosteroid shots for this.

Stop the medication and approach ER. Taking a short course of corticosteroids and anti histamines will be helpful to normalize your condition.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

I am currently taking nortriptyline, lamotrigine, vyvanse, deplin, LO loestrin. I am taking the trazadone for insomnia. The swelling has gone down some and swallowing has improved slightly. But still have blurred vision and drugged feeling.

Brief Answer:
The medication you are taking has such side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

The medication you are taking has such side effects. It will be there for the initial period and go after some time. These are anti seizure , sedatives and cognitive enhancers. You should have a regular follow up with your neurologist while taking these. As you feel better then nothing to worry. If the symptoms are trouble some then report your doctor to change the drugs.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
