Brief Answer:
Infection in the middle ear with upper respiratory tract infection...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for posting the query

After going through the query, I do understand that you could be having infection in the middle ear secondary to the upper respiratory tract infection, which is evidenced by the discharge. Presence of fluid in the middle ear with the toxins in it can give rise to ringing sensation (tinnitus) and dizziness. The sore throat is a part of your upper respiratory tract infection.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Wipe off the discharge coming out from the ear. Avoid plugging the ear to prevent the discharge oozing out.
2. Avoid water into the affected ear.
3. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day, for a few minutes.
4. Drink frequent sips of warm water. This will reduce the congestion in the throat and the soreness. Also, you can try using povidone iodine throat spray or mouth gargles.
5. Avoid chilled food and beverages, smoking and coffee.
6. Consult your doctor at the earliest possible, for a thorough evaluation of the ear, nose and throat.

Hope this answers your query. Revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.
