What Causes Drowsiness Followed By Unconsciousness While Treating Arrythmia?
Question: yes, thank you. 87 yr old woman, legally blind, being treated for arrythmia, hbp, fell asleep watching tv and could not be roused even with pain stimulus. Paramedics found her unresponsive with pupils at pin point and after short time of oxygen she came around. Doctors at hospital could not find anything wrong with her and sent her home. She dozes off when not interested in program and does go into deep sleeps and it is difficult to awaken her. Is there name for this problem, can she die from it and how do we help her.

she is 5 feet 4 inches and around 200 lbs. thanks for any help you can give.
