Question : Hi, I took Postinor-2 on 15/2 about more than 24 hrs aft sex. My previous period was on 7/2. Today 1/3, i had a brown spot on my panties. Could it be implantation bleeding? Or is it a side effect of postinor-2? I am really scared I might be pregnant.

I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
The earlier after unprotected sex Postinor-2 is taken, the more effective it is. Since you took it after 24 hours its efficacy in preventing pregnancy will be around 85%. Usually Postinor-2 taken in the first half of cycle causes preponement of period. So the brown spot you saw today is most likely the beginning of period.
There is a very small possibility of this brown spotting being due to implantation as efficacy of Postinor-2 in your case will be around 85%.
In order to clarify things I advise you to take a pregnancy test on 4th March if you don't start your period by then. Usually pregnancy test is positive around 11 days after ovulation.
If you do not want pregnancy do discuss with your doctor and start using regular effective contraception like hormone contraception or have an intrauterine devise inserted. This will save you from unnecessary stress.
