What Causes Ectopic Heart Beats With History Of Successful Ablation?
Don't panic! It isn't a dangerous situation, just consult your cardiologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I would like to explain that, facing the fact you have a structurally normal heart (echo report), and have undergone a successful ablation, your ectopic heart beats are considered harmless. You don't have to worry, as they are not dangerous for your heart, and couldn't impose any risks to your life (though they may give an unpleasant feeling and disturb you).
Nevertheless, I recommend you to consult your cardiologist for a cardiac check up (perform a clinical examination, resting ECG, check blood electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels, etc), and if necessary an ambulatory 24 to 48 hours ECG monitoring (Holter), to perform a quantitative study of the arrhythmia (if it persists).
Hope to have been helpful!
Feel free to ask me whenever you need. Greetings! Dr. Iliri
No urgency to visit your doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
PVCs would be considered serious when they are part of a more complex arrhythmia, are in large amounts, and most importantly are generated as a result of a severe cardiomyopathy.
There is not any urgencies, you may consult your doctor when you can.
